My daughter LOVES dandelions... so much that she had her wedding cake decorated with icing dandelions! Coincidentally a girl I went to high school with who now lives on the Chesapeake Bay loves to take photos of sunrises, sunsets, clouds, and various other things she sees. She has a great eye, and I envy her photo talent! When she posted the photo I used as the reference for this drawing, I sent her a message asking if I could use her photo as a reference in exchange for sending her the actual drawing and have permission to post my drawing on FAA/Pixels for print and products. My daughter has a small home and doesn't have room for pictures, but will be able to use a coffee cup or throw pillow, or tote bag, or whatever she chooses from the site, so its a win-win for all three of us! I LOVE BEAUTIFUL THINGS... AND CREATIVITY OF ANY KIND I have always so admired creative, imaginative people. But, I have also always been afraid to try to join them. I have never had an art lesson, but have been very fortunate to be on sites where amazing artists share some of the things they've learned and even make suggestions or praises to novices like I was. In 2008, I picked up a pencil, and drew a photo that impressed me. For someone who had no lessons, no experience, it wasn't bad, and I got the rush that comes from creating, from trying! My family and friends encouraged me to keep at it, to try new mediums, and with time and practice, I started to produce pieces that I was proud of... and actually wanted to share. So here I am,...
