Don't you wish we could be as easily pleased with a day as we were as children? Just sitting in the grass on a hill in the spring or summer breeze, peeking through our blowing hair, playing a one sided game of peek-a-boo with... a bird, a passing bunny, a friend... or that imaginary fairy or princess or knight or Native American on a horse... imagination was so easy, so natural, and so real in those days!! This colored pencil drawing was digitally filtered to perfect the colors.
I LOVE BEAUTIFUL THINGS... AND CREATIVITY OF ANY KIND I have always so admired creative, imaginative people. But, I have also always been afraid to try to join them. I have never had an art lesson, but have been very fortunate to be on sites where amazing artists share some of the things they've learned and even make suggestions or praises to novices like I was. In 2008, I picked up a pencil, and drew a photo that impressed me. For someone who had no lessons, no experience, it wasn't bad, and I got the rush that comes from creating, from trying! My family and friends encouraged me to keep at it, to try new mediums, and with time and practice, I started to produce pieces that I was proud of... and actually wanted to share. So here I am,...

YES. In fact, wouldn't it be nice if there was such a thing as a vacation back to childhood for a week, or more?? I would choose it over traveling any day. Beautiful art!!!
