Description
Those who can, do. Those who can't DRAW! The graceful stance of this young woman, the fact she can hold her pose long enough for the photographer to take the shot, the light design that perfectly captured her grace even in her shadow... I had to draw her! To perfect the darkness of the room, it was drawn on black cardstock with waxy Prismacolor pencils. It was also a small lesson to me that sometimes less is really more. And a reminder to all of the joy of creation, even if it is just a moment. Finally, as a person who has always had short, stubby fingers, even before entering my 60s and adding knobs to all my fingers, I lhave always adored the grace some hands embody! Perfect gift for a fan of dance!

Goodness Kathy, you are such a brilliant talent! Deeply beautiful art, and yes who doesn't love the art of dance! I loved your first line here in your description, but instead of draw (I can't even do that) I might say photograph! lol Such a deeply stunning creation with those rich dark tones and the shadow!
